Mayo is a lively and animated person. She doesn’t like staying in the same place for a long time, preferring to wander around. It’s hard for her to turn down requests so she generally just follows along with what others suggest. Neither does she really have a self-conscience because it’s the voice of her older brother that tells her not to do things. She likes to display her affection very openly and if given the chance will tell how much she loves and appreciates people. Although she doesn’t like to admit it, she is also rather judgmental. When she talks she uses a lot of hand gestures and to show lots of expression, which makes it hard for her to lie.

Biography:

Her life before meeting Seiho was blurry. She only remembers how her parents took her on a holiday saying she’d never forget it. She was extremely ill in her early years (1-4) as a child despite looking completely healthy. Her family happened to live a high life; owning small businesses locally. Mayo was always dolled up and was submitted in minor beauty pageants but always won second to best places. Her parents avoided calling her by her real name and just referred to her as “doll”.  At the time she only viewed it as a compliment, not really perceiving how it made her seem shallow.

After lavishing spending money on their daughter a depression hit and they couldn't afford her anymore. No more pageants, no more money, no more doll. Not only that, but her medical debts were too much for them to handle. So they insinuated a plan; to take their daughter somewhere far away that she wouldn’t find them again. On a holiday to Switzerland they walked her into a large bustling crowd and let her hand go. She was only 6 at the time, too carefree to remember her address or any contact details.  Luckily a shelter volunteer found her and escorted her beneath a safe roof for the night, and unknowingly more to come. During the day she’d wander around searching for her parents , denying her abandonment for a long time (and still partially does; wanting to believe they’d only lost her). She had no idea about her whereabouts because of her airy fairy lifestyle until that point. 

Every afternoon she’d go outside and cry in hopes that her parents would hear her cry and retrieve her. Until one day whilst there was a projector movie screening at the shelter, a Swiss boy came along and offered her consolation with his precious red ball. “What’s your name? How old are you?  Where are you from?” to which she couldn’t reply to any. Confused and scared he was the first true comfort she felt since she’d been abandoned. The adults were too big and intimidating, whilst he was around her age. 

Once she learned his name was Seiho she’d just keep calling him “Big brother” or Onii-chan. Seeing no protesting coming from his side she continued to do so. She always wanted siblings but her parents shut the world out from her. Together they bonded and soon she became his adopted little sister following him wherever he went as his side-kick. When he asked her what her name was she didn’t want to tell him ‘doll’ so she said she didn't know; which she didn’t. He named her Mayo for ‘Mayonaise’ which she took to affectionately since her it complimented her hair. Ever since she takes extreme pride of her name. Seiho pampered her and after a while she also became considerably possessive of him. 

They’d travel around places but never really seem to settle. Friends were something she'd learned not to make since sooner or later they'd just move. But that was alright with her, as long as her big brother was with her. Every year seemed to be different faces, different schools, all the way from primary to high school. It wasn't until when they arrived in Sapporo did things feel like they were in the right place. Seiho began working at a convenience store in which she wanted to apply to work for too. She felt like she was a burden to her brother and wanted to lighten the stress she gave him with her expenses. He applied her for the same school as him at the cost of being separated in dorms.
